For the occasion of Jiří Georg Dokoupil´s exhibition a rich supporting programme has been prepared. Its goal is to present the exhibited artworks in broader thematic context to the diversity of the visitors. For art lovers, group visits, or individuals, we have prepared commented tours and also, on particular days, you can meet the so-called “informers”, i.e. young, qualified lecturers, ready to discuss not only each painting, but the whole conception of the exhibition, with anybody interested, throughout the opening hours, and to answer visitors´ questions. In addition, a special commented tour will be held.

Furthermore, there is an educational programme designated for schools, interest groups, or families with children, and it has several parts: directly in the exhibition space there are interactive working sheets, available anytime. A so-called animation programme can also be ordered which offers non-conventional possibility of meeting with the artworks, meant mainly for children and young people. Art within the animation programme is seen from a broader context of interesting contemporary themes and is being captured by discussion, hands-on activities and by creative workshop. During the exhibition an open afternoon workshop will be held for all the interested people with no age limitations.

The purpose of the supporting programme is to mediate the exhibited art to the various groups of visitors through the attractive form, which is drawn upon the requirements of today’s viewers and our age, and instead of passive perception of fine arts, it offers the possibility of a discussion, disclosure of new semantic levels, interaction, and of creativity.
